To help celebrate our 75th Anniversary, we are looking for riders to take part in the SEIB Burghley sponsored ride. SEIB have very kindly offered to include the AHT as one of the benefitting charities of this exciting equestrian event. Up to 500 budding riders of all ages and abilities, and their trusted steeds, will have the opportunity to ride the cross country course which, just the day before, hosted some of the best eventers in the world competing in an international four star eventing competition. Riders can walk or trot around the fences and enjoy the experience of seeing the massive fences first hand from the backs of their own horses!
The 2017 ride will be on Sunday 3 September, the final day of the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials and cumulative proceeds for charities is now over £220,000. This is a great event for groups, riding clubs, livery yards or individuals. Open to all ages over 5 and suitable for all riding abilities, 100% of the funds raised (including 100% of your entry fee) go to the event’s chosen charities, including the AHT.
